Disney World

I wanted to post a few pics from our trip to Disney World. I have so many great ones, it was hard to choose only two. We all had such a great time! Even though it was extremely hot, we managed to ride a lot of rides and see some really cool shows. Mom and Dad really enjoyed two new rides...where you shoot at objects and accumulate points...like a video game. They were both extremely competitive. It was fun to end the ride and compare everyone's score. Somehow, Mom and Dad always had some of the highest total scores. Imagine that! I guess Dad's competitive spirit and all the afternoons that Mom spent playing Pacman...paid off!

Uncle Pete

The kids were delighted the other day when they discovered that Uncle Pete had a hidden talent. Don recently bought a new cd...and when the kids looked closely at the back of the cd...they saw Uncle Pete. Who knew that Pete could play the fiddle? What I really want to know is:
When did he learn to play?
Where did he get his outfit?
And...
Who styled his hair?

Meet My Mister
This is my mister. She mists my flowers every day. Misting is a job that should be done with alot of flair. You should always strike a pose and tilt your head while misting. A mister should also have a mischievous grin. I think that part of the fun that goes along with this job...is knowing that there is only one spray bottle in the house...and your siblings would die to get their hands on the one that you're using.

Sink or Swim
The girls are taking swim lessons this summer. They quickly learned that the teaching style was..."sink or swim". I've been told (by reliable sources...a four year old): If you don't want to dive off the board, you will get "helped" in. Parents don't watch the swim lessons, so at first I was unsure what was accurate/inaccurate information.
Well, parents were allowed to watch a demonstration last Thursday (day 4), so I was able to snap a few pics. To my surprise, all the kids in the class (ages 2-9) were able to jump off the board and swim. It was pretty amazing.
