First Post

This is my first post... snazzy, isn't it?!?!?!?!?!

For Wallace:

During Spring Break we went to Gulf Shores. We had a great time. We ate at Lambert's Cafe (Home of Throwed Rolls) and the Original Oyster House (thank goodness they serve pizza and chicken). Brandon and L.B. both thought that Captain D's was better. I think mom and dad have brainwashed my kids! The water was cold. Ok.. it was FREEEEEZING, but that didn't stop the kids! We built three sandcastles. Each time we built a sandcastle Laura Beth talked about uncle Wallace and how much he likes to build them. We tried to look across the ocean to see if we could see Ireland, but didn't have any luck!

What more could a mother want!

Back...!

Hey guys... we are back from our trip to England! Our conference was great, but we had to be inside (in meetings)on some of the most beautiful days of the year! I wanted to share a pic we took on our last day there. Mom would have loved these fields!

The importance of a good wife

I got this from a co-worker... thought you would like it.

Some days you just need your wife more than others...

A little humor...

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10."

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."
